There are plenty of events, nightlife and nocturnal activities to experience in Montréal after 10 p.m. While Montréal’s notorious Sin City era is behind her, Montréalers still love letting the good times roll long after most other cities have rolled up their sidewalks and gone to bed. Casino de Montréal

Located on Île Notre-Dame just a few minutes from downtown. the Casino de Montréal is Canada’s largest casino. From concerts to fine dining, there is something for everyone. Open Sunday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. The casino is open on statutory holidays.

La Grande Roue
La Grande Roue
Open year round, La Grande Roue de Montréal is Canada’s tallest observation wheel. It stands 60 metres above the Old Port, providing 20-minute rotations with sweeping 360-degree views. Open until 11 p.m. nightly.
Late-night comedy

Thrills and chills
With more than 150 documented ghost stories, Montréal is reputed to be the most haunted city in Canada and one of the most haunted in North America. Led by professional actors and professional ghost storytellers, public ghost walks and private tours are popular with locals and visitors alike, offered by such tour-guide company Montréal Ghosts, usually beginning around dusk.
Over at La Ronde amusement park in Parc Jean-Drapeau, Adrenaline evenings offer thrill rides in the dark in a neon atmosphere (Saturdays in September) and Fright Fest returns in October. Click here for more info.

Nuit Blanche
The annual Nuit Blanche à Montréal all-nighter offers one-of-a-kind arts-and-culture activities and events city-wide in many hubs around the city: Old Montréal, Quartier des spectacles, Downtown, Plateau Mont-Royal and Mile-End, Hochelaga and Montréal North. Iconic NDG bowling alley Quilles G plus Rose Bowl has been a Montréal institution since it opened in 1988. The Rose Bowl boasts 72 lanes, a bar and snack bar that all close at 3 a.m. nightly.
