Pick a Peck of Pumpkins!

Pick a Peck of Pumpkins! explores the surprising world of cucurbits through a free outdoor exhibition for families. Set in a historic urban garden, the experience highlights the many uses of pumpkins, gourds, squash, cucumbers, and zucchinis, from food and decoration to cosmetics and musical instruments. Children ages 4 to 7 can follow a game booklet to solve a mystery word alongside Rougenelle, a friendly red squash, while ages 8 to 12 test their knowledge through a series of playful challenges. Successful participants receive a surprise at the end of their visit.
