Reversible and Katharsis Morphé by Danza Contemporánea de Cuba
Festivals and events
Founded in 1959, Danza Contemporánea de Cuba has developed a distinctive language shaped by mambo, Afro-Caribbean traditions, classical ballet and contemporary impulses. Two leading choreographers bring their singular visions to the stage: Annabelle Lopez Ochoa explores transformation in “Reversible”, while George Céspedes reveals social tensions and collective energy in “Katharsis Morphé”. Performed by a large ensemble, this program weaves movement and music into a vivid portrait of identity, memory and the creative pulse of the island.
