Lady Chatterley - Les Grands Ballets Canadiens

Festivals and events Montréal

Set in post–World War I England, "Lady Chatterley" follows Constance, trapped in a loveless marriage bound by class and convention. Her encounter with Mellors, the gamekeeper, awakens a forbidden passion that defies society’s rules. Inspired by D. H. Lawrence’s once-censored novel, choreographer Cathy Marston transforms this story into a powerful ballet that explores desire, freedom, and the courage to follow one’s heart. Through moving, intimate dance, “Lady Chatterley” celebrates the power of love to challenge the world.
