Get some fresh air and a new perspective! Let the experts take you on guided tours of Montréal – virtually or in person – and learn more about our city’s rich history and culture. Walking tours for individuals and small groups from the same household are currently permitted, so here are our suggestions for tour companies offering fascinating visits with certified guides.

Guidatour

In business for 35 years, Guidatour specializes in guided tours of all kinds: Old Montréal (also available as a culinary tour), murals, the underground city, and even ghost tours! Guidatour has guides who speak a variety of languages (French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Mandarin, etc.).

Fitz Montréal Bike Tours

Fitz Montréal Bike Tours offers a wide selection of tours throughout the year. Currently, two excursions are available: Old Montréal and Street Art.

Héritage Montréal

Héritage Montréal offers several virtual tours that are available on their website. Check out their ArchitecTours or download the “neighbourhood treasures” seek-and-find PDF for a self-guided treasure hunt that you can do in your favourite neighbourhood. Best of all, they’re all free!

Montréal Hanté

Add a little spooky fun to a winter evening with a Haunted Montréal ghost tour in one of several Montréal neighbourhoods: Downtown, Griffontown or Mont-Royal. Join their public tours or book a private tour (available in French or English) if you are a minimum of 12 people.

Spade & Palacio

Well-known for their popular mural tours, Spade & Palacio invite you to experience Montréal like a local. Their tours take you on strolls through different neighbourhoods of the city and let you soak up the energy and vitality of Montréal and the creative people that bring it to life.

Museum of Jewish Montréal

Explore the diverse culture, food, and stories of Montreal’s Jewish community with a tour of the city’s historic Jewish neighbourhoods led by friendly museum researchers. Note that outdoor tours will resume in the spring. Visit the Museum of Jewish Montréal website for more details.
