Montréal club culture has always been hot, and every August, summer festival îLESONIQ boosts electronic and hip-hop clubbing to legendary sonic heights. This year’s lineup shines with major names such as deadmau5, Rezz, Above & Beyond, Dom Dolla, and many more to grace Montréal’s sunny shores on August 8 and 9, 2026.

Electro park life

A powerful lineup of internationally celebrated artists, high-powered speakers and subwoofers,  and an idyllic island park: the only missing ingredient is you. The anticipated and celebrated EDM festival îLESONIQ returns for its 11th season the weekend of August 8 to 9 among the forests and flowers of Parc Jean-Drapeau on beautiful Île Sainte-Hélène, plus a bonus night of music at îLESONIQ IN THE CITY on August 7.

On the heels of indie-rock heavyweight weekend Osheaga, îLESONIQ doesn’t miss a beat with internationally acclaimed artists showcased on three outdoor stages, from early afternoon to well past sunset. While this Montréal festival has made a name for itself first and foremost for its globally recognized electronic talent, its consistently breathtaking audiovisual experiences and impressive stage setups have contributed to its continued draw. Sensory experiences aren’t limited to the stages either, with interactive games, high-tech art, a mini water park, and plenty more activities to stimulate the senses on site. Choose to go for one day of fun, experience the wild weekend in its entirety, or go all-out and treat yourself and friends to one of the festival’s premium experiences.

Dance all day

There’s a sound for everyone at îLESONIQ, whether you’re there to dance in the surround-sound atmosphere or simply soak up the good vibes. Among the festival’s high-energy bass, techno, house, EDM, trance, and dubstep music creators and producers storming the stage this year are heavy-hitting headliners such as Aussie house music icon Dom Dolla, the titanic trio of trance Above & Beyond, and Canada’s own deadmau5, appearing alongside his mau5trap protégé-turned-headliner Rezz. Other acts to watch out for are underground techno juggernaut Holy Priest, techno innovator Boris Brejcha, and dubstep powerhouse Wooli. From the main stages to the those among the trees and next to the river, catch major players and emerging artists sure to thrill and get you moving. Find the full lineup here.

Eat and drink

While your soul is being nourished by the beat, keep your body nourished by the incredible food trucks and caterers at îLESONIQ — all kinds of food kiosks and gourmet-level food trucks await on site. Grab yourself a tasty burger and classic poutine, a top-tier sandwich, made-to-order pizza, or any one of the treats on offer to give your dancing body the calories it needs to keep going strong. Stay hydrated with water (and plenty of it!) and indulge in a few specialty soft drinks, or some beer and spirits if you’re keen. (Bring two valid pieces of ID to prove you’re over 18!) Water consumption truly is paramount, so bring your own water bottle and be sure to fill it at the water stations onsite. Water bottles should be empty, clear, and plastic. For more info on the site, check out îLESONIQ’s FAQ.

Sounds of the city
