îleSoniq Montréal gives festivalgoers a taste of the city's high-energy club culture, whether you're at the electronic music festival to dance or simply soak up good vibes under the sun.

Since 2014, the two-day summer festival has welcomed some of the world's most popular electronic dance music and hip-hop producers to picturesque Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène.

îleSoniq doesn't miss a beat with over 50 artists performing on three outdoor stages, from early afternoon to well past sunset. Along with an impressive artist line-up, what makes îleSoniq into a remarkable festival experience are the thousands of fans, always ready to party and dressed in bright colours and club wear, as if transported directly from Burning Man or an afterhours club.

When it's time to take a break from dancing, wander the festival grounds to find local food and drink, chill-out zones, interactive games, high-tech art, a water park and more activities for all ages. All that plus fresh air and amazing views of the St. Lawrence River and Old Montréal.

This year for its sixth edition, îleSoniq takes over the newly renovated festival site at Parc Jean-Drapeau's Espace 67. The party starts on Friday at 1 p.m. and runs until almost midnight, with sets from electro-hip hop duo Boombox Cartel, ultra-popular EDM-house producer Kaskade, rapper Lil Pump, house music star Oliver Heldens, the Latin trap and reggaeton of Bad Bunny, plus EDM producer and renowned remixer Marshmello closing the night with a bang.

Spend your Saturday at îleSoniq with the massive EDM dance beats of Above & Beyond, Excision, Alesso and Nicole Moudaber, and check out local synth masters Adventure Club and the trance, dubstep and glitch-hop of Seven Lions. With so much music and all kinds of fun festival activities, the whole ÎleSoniq weekend is one big, good mood!
