For almost 200 years Holt Renfrew has been at the forefront of fashion and beauty in Canada. Both Holt Renfrew and Ogilvy have achieved iconic department store status in Montréal with each storied brand offering the very best the world of luxury has to offer. Now these two icons have come together, merging as one to take fashion and beauty in Montréal to the next level.

In late March of 2019, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy unveiled, and opened to the public, its luminous new Beauty department as well as its Menswear Hall. 25,000 square feet of space play host to an exciting assortment of beauty, fragrance and skincare in a sleek new environment on the store’s concourse level. The new 40,000 square foot Menswear destination is also suited up and ready to wow the fashion-savvy masses. We also discovered that the new store was directly connected to the exquisite new Four Seasons Hotel Montréal, adding yet another notch of architectural beauty to the downtown core.

The most sought after beauty brands from around the world such as Sisley, Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin, Givenchy, Maison Christian Dior, CHANEL and so many more are featured in the new beauty department while world-class fragrance shops such as Hermès, Diptyque, Guerlain, Chopard, Creed and many others offer an array of pleasing scents for every occasion. Taking luxury beauty to the next level, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy’s Beauty Hall also features a dedicated Clean Beauty area, a sunglasses shop for women and pop up event spaces throughout the floor. Many of the brands available are exclusive to Holt Renfrew in Canada, making this a truly unique shopping destination.

For the guys, Holt’s new Menswear Hall continues to offer the same dedicated service that we have all come to expect over the years. The Men’s department featured over 25 new vendor shops including Balenciaga, Brioni, Burberry, Dior, Givenchy, Moncler, Saint Laurent Paris and more. The department will also feature footwear by Christian Louboutin and Gucci, a dedicated personal shopping area, a grooming area featuring shops by Creed, Tom Ford, Hermès and Acqua di Parma, a suit shop featuring a plethora of trusted brand names as well as a chic menswear designer area featuring brands such as Balmain, Givenchy, Comme des garçons, Saint Laurent, Acne and many more.

With the multi-year and multi-million-dollar revamp now complete, the luxury department store is ready to receive the masses on all six of its sprawling, fashion-forward floors. From main floor concession brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Tiffany and a bi-level CHANEL store, to the second floor offerings of bags, shoes and contemporary clothing from Saint-Laurent, Gucci, Longchamps and much more all the way up to third floor designer brands for women and a personal shopping experience and Tudor hall on the fifth floor, there’s never been a better time to spoil yourself with a little luxury.

When you’re done shopping, Café Holt is the perfect place to rest up with a cocktail or a light lunch (or both!). The beautifully decorated, ‘40s Hollywood inspired decor is as decadent as the department store itself with attention to detail paid as expected from this prestigious and iconic brand. The cafe just opened a few weeks ago and is already the talk of the town. With a simple approach to great local cuisine infused with international influence, created by Chef Yacir Nakhaly, the menu at Cafe Holt is haute cuisine for foodies and haute couture lovers alike.
