Tourisme Montréal

Montréal is full of fascinating stories, neighbourhoods with distinct personalities, and places we think we know by heart. This fall, Tourisme Montréal invites you to see your city through fresh eyes with eight free guided tours operated by Guidatour from October 2 to November 1, 2026.

Designed for residents of the Greater Montréal area, these tours offer a new way to experience the city, whether you have lived here all your life or recently made it home.

Space is limited, so a refundable $10 deposit per person is required when you book. We will reimburse this amount after you attend the tour. This is not a fee. It helps ensure that as many reserved spots as possible are used.

Please note that all bookings are final. You cannot change your date or cancel once your reservation is confirmed. If you do not attend, your $10 deposit will not be refunded.

Guidatour’s professional guides lead the tours, which are offered primarily in French, with select departures in English.

See your city differently

Every day, we walk past buildings, through streets, and across parks without knowing the stories behind them. Yet behind a quiet façade, a familiar corner, or a public artwork, Montréal often reveals something unexpected.

As part of Tourisme Montréal’s sustainable development plan, this initiative encourages Montrealers to take a fresh look at the places they live in and pass through every day. It also celebrates our shared heritage and the unique bond between people and their city.
