Headquarters of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, the building houses the ICAO Museum, located in its main lobby.
Open to the general public, the museum is dedicated to the history of air transport and presents objects illustrating the development of civil aviation and ICAO. In the ICAO Foyer, also open to the public, are exhibited works donated by Member States. Visitors to the building can also take a guided tour of an exhibition about Montréal and various Canadian works.
In addition, the massive illuminated hall adjoining the ICAO tower often hosts exhibits featuring Montréal artists.
Outside the building's entrance is a sculpture by the Québec artist Marcelle Ferron entitled Le Miroir aux alouettes.
