The 1250 Boulevard René-Lévesque, formerly known as the “IBM-Marathon Tower,” is the second tallest skyscraper in Montreal, with a roof height of 199 metres (excluding its spire). This 47-story building, completed in 1992, was designed by the firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. Featuring postmodern and neo-modern styles, it stands out for its original shapes and the elegant curve of its east-facing façade. Made of granite and glass, it embodies bold architecture that defines Montreal’s urban landscape.
