Maple syrup "taffy on snow"
March 11, 2018
In the old days, sugaring off season was a time when farm work began to resume. At the museum site is a small sugar shack where visitors can enjoy taffy or “tire.” Host and story-teller Télesphore recounts beautiful stories in his own special way. Musicians add a festive note.
The Maison Saint-Gabriel Museum is located in Montréal's southwest neighbourhood, Pointe-Saint-Charles, and is dedicated to preserving the history, heritage and artifacts of the settlers of New France in the mid 17th century.
