Stella Musica Festival
March 21 and 22, 2019
The 100th anniversary commemoration of the First World War, as well as female indigenous composers are the themes of this edition of the Stella Musica Festival, which has a unique format consisting of a round-table discussion, an intimate concert, and a major concert.
The Festival wishes to promote the achievements of women who are accomplished instrumentalists, composers, and conductors. It is also a great springboard for promising young female musicians.
As a purveyor of culture, the Corporation du Théâtre Outremont’s mission is to advocate its citizens’ active involvement in cultural life. It is to heighten public awareness of artistic and aesthetic endeavors, to appeal to audience sensibilities (youth audience included) and engender a general appreciation and understanding of the arts and of culture.
