Get inspired by our lists built around a theme, and experience Montréal to the hilt.
Annually in September
Somewhere between a giant block party and a music and comedy fest, Mile Ex End Montréal delivers a carefully curated program to a public that’s as diverse as it’s plugged in. Held under the Rosemont/Van Horne viaduct and bordered by the beautiful green spaces and industrial architecture synonymous with this up-and-coming neighbourhood, the festival features a unique line-up of discovery-worthy music and comedy performances.
Young adults, kids and the older-yet-connected flock from Little Italy to the north, Rosemont to the east and the Plateau to the south, by foot, metro and bike to enjoy the food trucks, family activities and energetic vibe of this unique enclave. Mile Ex End Montréal has been attracting music lovers to its fun and cozy venue since 2017. Day and event passes are available, and children under 12 get in for free.
For the 2019 edition, each day of the Labour Day weekend has a theme. Friday, August 30 is dedicated to songs and singer-songwriters with Feist, Mélissa Laveaux and La Force headlining, while on Saturday, August 31 the crowds will be wowed by Les Cowboys Fringants, Galaxie and Daniel Lanois. Groove takes centre stage on Sunday, September 1 with sets by Chromeo, Alaclair Ensemble, Lou-Adriane Cassidy and Les Louanges. And on Monday, September 1, humour gets the honours during Mile Ex End Rigole with Rosalie Vaillancourt, Phil Roy and Les Denis Drolet in the spotlight.
Aug 30 to Sep 2, 2019.
