NBA House in Montréal for pro basketball finals

Some hoop dreams do come true, and that will certainly be the case when the National Basketball Association brings its prestigious NBA House event to Montréal for the first time from June 5-8 during the NBA finals. NBA House will open its doors at the expansive, immersive, multi-use La Nesra space in Griffintown, providing an ideal environment for viewing live game broadcasts, interactive broadcasts and much more.
Let’s get this NBA House party started
For an action-packed four days, NBA House is inviting basketball fans to enjoy the thrilling court-play of the 2026 NBA finals at state-of-the-art event space La Nesra in Montréal’s burgeoning Griffintown neighbourhood adjacent to downtown. This one-of-a-kind experience will provide a full slate of basketball-related activities, including the following:
- Festive viewing parties at live game broadcasts for Game 2 (Friday, June 5) and Game 3 (Monday, June 8) of the finals
- Meet-and-greets with NBA legends
- Photo opportunities with the Larry O’Brien Trophy
- Interactive basketball activities
- A space dedicated to the WNBA, including a viewing party for the Commissioner’s Cup game on June 7
- Limited-edition merchandise inspired by Montréal
Hosting NBA House in Montréal is a slam dunk
NBA basketball is having a moment in Montréal, and the popularity of the sport is growing by leaps and (re)bounds.
“Montréal is known for its love of basketball and pride in its players, including NBA champions Luguentz Dort, Chris Boucher, Joel Anthony and Bill Wennington,” said Arnon de Mello, NBA General Manager for Canada and Latin America, in a press statement. “The first edition of our NBA House in Montréal will offer a range of interactive experiences for fans of all ages, allowing them to experience all the excitement of the finals.”
The NBA House stop in Montréal will mark the third edition of the event in Canada, following successful stops in Calgary (2025) and Vancouver (2024). In the past, NBA House events have been held in Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, the United States and the United Kingdom.
The WNBA is also in the House
To celebrate the WNBA’s (Women’s National Basketball Association) historic expansion into Canada this year, NBA House will also feature a “Champions Lounge” offering an interactive experience, WNBA merchandise and more. A viewing party is also planned for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup game between the Toronto Tempo and the Chicago Sky on June 7.
