The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal makes today’s art a vital part of Montréal and Québec life. For over 50 years, this vibrant museum has brought together local and international artists, their works and an ever growing public. The Musée presents temporary exhibitions devoted to outstanding and relevant current artists as well as exhibitions of works drawn from its extensive permanent collection.


Tue, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wed, Thu, Fri, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sun, Sat, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Closed: Dec 25 and Jan 1.


The Museum will be exceptionally closed until October 20, so that they can prepare for the next exhibitions. The MAC will be open for the Journées de la culture, September 29 and 30, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
