Open year round, La Grande Roue de Montréal, Canada’s tallest observation wheel, stands 60 meters above the Old Port, providing 20-minute rotations with sweeping 360-degree views spanning 28 kilometers on clear days.
Its 42 lavish, climate-controlled gondolas accommodate up to eight people each, boasting anti-UV tempered glass panels for optimal views. There’s even a VIP cabin with a glass floor!
Up top, admire Mount Royal, the St. Lawrence River, and Montréal’s eclectic architecture. Down below, enjoy an exceptional terrace where the bistro and café serve up a delicious array of nibbles and treats.
Operating until midnight, there’s no better spot to enjoy fireworks, the Jacques-Cartier Bridge light show, or the starlit cityscape.
