Old Montréal and Old Port

Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal Archaeology and History Complex, invites you to follow in the footsteps of the pioneers who founded the city of Montréal and visit a unique commemorative space: the site where Montréal began. Pointe-à-Callière, a national historic site and birthplace of Montréal, examines 600 years of history, from the time when Natives camped here to present day.
