UCI Road World Championships

In 1974, Montréal hosted the UCI Road World Championships, marking the first time this prestigious cycling competition was held outside Europe. Montréal will host a free, large-scale cycling event, the biggest since the 1976 Olympic Games. This event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Summer Olympics. For eight days, 1,000 of the world's finest athletes from over 75 countries will compete in a series of 13 spectacular events.
