Since 2018, Tootsie: The Musical has enjoyed massive success on Broadway, in Chicago and in Europe and now the musical, based on the famous 1982 film starring Dustin Hoffman, will enjoy its French premiere in Montréal at Espace St-Denis.

The story follows Michael Dorsey, a temperamental actor who struggles to find work and develops the persona of Dorothy Michaels in hopes of winning auditions. Finding success, Micheal soon realizes that his secret will eventually be revealed.

The stage show presents 17 talented actors plus a jazzy score developed by David Yazbek.
