Three interactive installations in the Quartier des spectacles

August 15 to October 14, 2019

Visual arts and design
Downtown - Quartier des spectacles

Get in on the action in the Quartier des spectacles with three interactive art installations designed to explore your relationship with the city, sound and much more.

Wind Instrument invites to you to listen closely to the sounds around you, to make noise, and to add your own personal resonance to surrounding urbanity.

Just how compassionate are you? To find out, let the giant camera of The Compassion Machine measure your capacity for kindness and altruism: it’s an invitation from the Ensemble Ensemble Collective to open up to others and put distrust to the wayside.

Spectrum is an interactive installation sheds light on the phenomenon of communication by displaying the trajectories of sound in waves and luminous pulses. You are at the epicentre of the experience as you watch the movement of your message, see the impact of your movements and engage with others in a sound-and-light dialogue in a luminously auditory fusion of light and sound.
