Stephanie Comilang: ANTHEMS

“ANTHEMS” is the first exhibition in Québec dedicated to the work of Stephanie Comilang. Through video installations, virtual reality, textiles, and 3D-printed objects, the artist explores how global flows of capital shape human lives and experiences of belonging. Blending documentary and fiction in what she describes as “science-fiction documentaries,” Comilang weaves together stories of migration, diaspora, and resilience. Drawing on objects such as pearls, pineapples, and monarch butterflies, her works reveal overlooked transnational networks and reflect on value, adaptation, and connection across borders.
