Arts and crafts shows off its avant-garde and unusual side in this annual event where our environmental footprint and product exclusivity go hand in hand with the times. The SAR presents the work of local artists and artisans whose creativity is governed by an environmental conscience.
All works of art, household items, designer fashion and more available for purchase by the public are the result of some form of recycling, reuse, or revalorization of materials originally destined for the landfill.
This large annual event brings together forty or so Quebecois eco-designers of all kinds. Clothing, jewellery, fashion accessories, household and decorative items, furniture and other rare treasures are on hand to delight young and old alike.
