“Rooted Intentions” by Veronica Johnny presents a contemporary ceremonial space where art becomes a relational and spiritual practice grounded in the land. Thirteen installations composed of carefully arranged natural elements are each guided by a specific intention, inviting reflection, observation, and presence. Drawing on Indigenous knowledge systems and a holistic worldview, the exhibition explores environmental and ethical questions while positioning art as a space for care, memory, and transformation. Veronica Johnny’s multidisciplinary practice connects visual arts, music, wellness, and community engagement.
