Deep water soloing makes a splash in Montréal during the Psicobloc Open Series Competition, a four-day, extreme free-climbing event unlike you’ve ever seen! This extreme competition involves two climbers racing up an 18-metre (65-foot) overhanging wall without a rope, equipment or any other protective system above a deep-water pool. One mistake and it’s into the water they go!
If the truth be told, competitors get wet either way: once at the top, the only way down is a plunge into the diving pool. A refreshing end to a strenuous climb!
Over 300 competitors will showcase their speed, agility, and endurance over four days of heart-pounding action and excitement with a Cali beach/surf vibe. What’s more, there’s fun, prizes and activities for the whole family, from kiddie bouldering to free swims on the main wall to games, sunbathing, a splash park and more.
Enjoy the best of Montréal
