Pointe-à-Callière's Port Symphony

February 25, 2018

Old Montréal and Old Port

This unique outdoor concert features the sounds of trains and boats moored in the Port of Montréal for the winter, brought together to create an original work of the most unusual kind.

To celebrate the Passion: Hockey exhibition, the composer, Herman Kolgen, will draw inspiration from the wind, an element intrisically linked to the river, boats, and sound. From the sounds emitted by sirens, the public will be envelopped in an auditory and moving turbulence which will create a unique musical piece with the special collaboration of the Phi Centre and MUTEK.
