Old Montréal and Old Port

Cultural diversity makes Québec’s largest city attractive – and appetizing! From the time of the encounter between the territory’s First Nations and the French colonizers through to Expo 67 and beyond, Montréal has been enriched by the contributions of the communities who have settled here. Customs, languages, religious beliefs, associations, small businesses, restaurants, markets, festivals and other cultural events have influenced the character of many of the city’s neighbourhoods. The prize-winning photographs will be expressions of what brings Montrealers together in shared spaces which are meeting points for people of all origins.
