Downtown - Quartier des spectacles

Catwalks in the street, thumping beats, champagne flutes and stilettos left and right – the annual Fashion & Design Festival is afoot! Don your finery and experience what Montréal style’s scene has to offer, right there in the hot spot of Quartier des spectacles.

Free open-air fashion shows throughout the day are more than enough reason to show up, but that’s only the start at this stylish gathering. In the heart of downtown Montréal, you’ll find live music shows, indoor workshops and presentations, film screenings, live creative sessions, design showcases and more shopping opportunities than your Visa will be able to handle thanks to the Pop-Up Shop Village. Explore dozens of temporary shops strewn around Place des Festivals, featuring Montréal brands both indie and established.

Don’t miss some of Montréal’s best food trucks onsite every day, too. You’ll also find beer tents and beverage counters all over the site for bubbly and martinis best enjoyed runway-side.

The roster of honoured guests at the 2019 edition is as gleaming as ever: you’ll be able to meet Christian de Lataillade from Mugler perfumes, Cirque du Soleil costume greats Nicolas Vaudelet and Mylène Bouthillette, and various retail experts to inspire you on a merchandising front. On stage, see the latest stunning designs of independent Montréal designers Ève Gravel, Yung_Alexander, Robert Atelier, Pedram Karimi and stylist Cary Tauben, among others. For the first time ever, some looks will be modelled in movement by dancers from the Natasha Filiatrault troupe and Ballets Jazz de Montréal.
