Mithra Myth Rabel + Rozenn Lecomte & Ariane Levasseur

Two works are presented in this double programme. Inspired by the artistic life of Montréal’s Afro‑descendent community, “Speakeasy” by Mithra Myth Rabel blends house dance, live music, and poetry to explore how memory shapes the future. The body tells a story rooted in the past yet reaching forward, offering an intimate, immersive experience. “La prétention d’exister” explores intimate and forbidden narratives as Ariane Levasseur and Rozenn Lecomte craft a love letter to their community. Through secrets and revelations, their bodies speak, sweat, and fight for the right to exist differently, moving between resistance and surrender.
