Labour Day long weekend gets a melodic, high-energy boost with the MEG Montréal Festival. The long-running electronic and urban music festival brings Québécois, Canadian and international artists together in live showcases made for dancing, unwinding and relaxing.
Created in 1999 by co-founders Mustapha Terki and Jacques Primeau, MEG endures as a discover-making event for emerging and notable creators of indie rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic music (you might just discover your new favourite artist at the festival!). In four days of musical programming at some of the city's best venues, MEG connects musicians with music fans and industry professionals, encouraging cultural exchanges between Canada and the global music scene and strengthening creative links between France and Québec.
Experience essential Montréal nightlife at MEG's live music nights and afternoons of electronic music, while professional forum MEG PRO sees agents, artist managers, programmers, festival and label heads, promoters and journalists share their expertise and experiences in the evolving sphere of electronic music.
