The presentation of the international art holdings in the new Pavilion for Peace Michal and Renata Hornstein highlights the strength and depth of a collection, unique in Québec and among the three largest in Canada, covering the high points of civilization. Furthermore, the works of the Hornstein gift, as well as Ben Weider’s Napoleonic collection, are incorporated into the existing collection both chronologically and thematically, resulting in 750 works of international art displayed on four levels of the building.
