FLASHDANCE – The Musical

The musical FLASHDANCE brings the story of the iconic 1983 film to the stage, following Alexandra “Alex” Owens, a young Pittsburgh welder who works at a steel mill by day and dances at a club by night. Dreaming of joining the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy, Alex faces social barriers, self-doubt and an unexpected romance as she pursues a future in dance. The production is directed by Frédéric Bélanger, whose Quebec theatre credits include “La Nuit des rois,” “Orgueil et Préjugés” and “Quichotte.”
