Inspired by Spanish carnival traditions, this wildly joyful and artistic ritual celebrates the construction – and subsequent burning – of a gigantic wooden structure. For weeks on end, young falleros lend their time and energy to collaborate on this special artistic project. Once their work is complete, it is lit on fire and reduced to ashes over the course of three days and three nights, celebrating their collective efforts. This large community fiesta features entertainment, family activities and outdoor concerts.
