Expo 67 - Artist-in-Residence

This exhibition brings artists Marie Samuel Levasseur and Maude Levasseur into dialogue with the legacy of Expo 67, 60 years after the landmark event. Presented in spring 2027 at the McCord Stewart Museum and the Biosphère, the exhibition draws on museum collections, the historic Expo site and the duo’s residency research. Objects, images, stories and utopian ideas come together to explore Expo 67 as a living source of memory and imagination, connecting past aspirations with present realities and possible futures.
