Over the last several decades science fiction has taught us to question if robots or AI will ever really think or feel like humans do. Fiction is about to become fact, at least musically, as we are immersed in a thought-provoking audio visual installation and performance piece.
Developed by Montreal Life Support and Woulg, this performance presents cellos, locked in the metallic appendages of three bespoke, robotic structures designed to support and autonomously play the cellos. These robotics will be controlled by a custom artificially intelligent neural network, designed to compose and perform for its audience to justify its existence.
