Le Combat contre la langue de bois is set to turn the world of public speaking into an irreverent and unforgettable evening. A dozen personalities hit the stage to speak about a topic of their choosing, ranging from personal stories to political statements. There’s no debate, no Q&A, just free speech. The event was launched in 2005 by artist, D. Kimm, who was fed up with hearing tired, broken-record style speeches. Speakers are required to commit themselves not only to the words they are speaking, but to the message they are delivering.
