“As We Polish This Rock, It Loses Its Memory” is an interactive real-time work by Axel Helios that bridges immersive cinema and installation art. Using analog devices placed at the centre of the dome, participants directly alter evolving visual and soundscapes inspired by humanity’s impulse to shape and control nature. By bringing together obsolete and contemporary technologies, the work explores innovation, ecological impact, collective memory, and the construction of shared narratives.
