June weather is perfect for all kinds of outdoor springtime and summer activities that can easily be done at a social distance. Enjoy the weather outdoors in Montréal this June at the city's many parks and wide-open outdoor spaces, in every neighbourhood.

Park life

Walk along the river in the Old Port of Montréal, have a picnic in Parc La Fontaine, see incredible views of the city in Mount Royal Park or take a bike ride through Frédéric-Back Park near La TOHU circus complex. Explore the neighbourhood of Verdun this June, from its many parks to its main streets – the borough is setting up special “bike streets” called vélorues for the summer. For more outdoor adventures, spend time at Montréal's large nature parks, like Cap-Saint-Jacques and l’Île-de-la-Visitation.

Sunny days activities

An expansive natural oasis in the city, the Montréal Botanical Garden’s outdoor gardens reopen on June 15, with new health guidelines, timed tickets and free entry to children 17 and under. Take a musical soundwalk around Montréal with the Portrait Sonore app, featuring modern architecture, public art, Expo 67 and more. Explore Montréal on two wheels with our guide to all things biking, including rentals and BIXI, and discover the secrets of the city on a private bike tour with off-the-beaten-path experts like Spade and Palacio – Île Notre-Dame and the entire Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve are also now open for cyclists. If it's thrills you're after, check out MTL Zipline. And later this month visit Québec wildlife outdoors at the conservation-focused Ecomuseum Zoo.
