Montréal eateries have honed their take-out and delivery skills and many are opening their sunny terrasses, making June a great time to try out the tried-and-true dishes you've been craving as well as new-to-you food and drink.

Montréal meals

Whatever neighbourhood you're in, whatever foods you've been dreaming about all spring, Montréal restaurants are ready to serve them up this month – they're reopening starting June 22! Chef Jérôme Ferrer has concocted a new experience called Épicure Land, a gourmet experience. All Expérience Vieux-Montréal restaurants, including Jacopo, Vieux-Port Steakhouse and Verses Bistro, are also reopening on that date.

Get your favourite meals for take-out and delivery, including smoked meat sandwiches, sushi, burgers done just right, creative cuisine with wine pairings, pastries and more. If you're taking a stroll through the Quartier des spectacles, grab something great to go from the neighbourhood's many diverse restaurants, from dinner at French bistro Bouillon Bilk to brunch at Café Parvis to beer and elevated pub grub from brasseries. Also check out these other foodie hotspots downtown.

Meanwhile, the Phi Centre honours local gastronomy with its Soundbites series, pairing local chefs' creations with their own stories set to music – on June 19, the great Danny St-Pierre serves up a three-course meal and a one-of-a-kind take-out experience.

Delicious drinks and desserts

Pick up a unique six pack for take out – or even order delivery – from the most inventive Montréal microbreweries. Sip perfectly brewed hot tea from Montréal tea houses, get your caffeine fix in style at Montréal's indie coffee shops, and get a to-go cup of the sweet stuff with the best hot chocolate in the city. Pick up a pastry to go with it at Montréal's best bakeries and pastry shops. Or sample the wonderful chocolate creations at the city's best chocolate shops.
