Preview of the 2018 edition of MTLàTABLE
This year marks the seventh edition of MTLàTABLE – Montréal’s Restaurant Week – which will take place from November 1 to 11, 2018. The 11-day long ode to gastronomy is presented by Aeroplan. As the main event presenter, Aeroplan will again offer its members some great benefits, such as the ability to book at the restaurant of their choice two days ahead of the public, along with other privileges at participating restaurants.
MTLàTABLE celebrates Québec’s terroir, in partnership with MAPAQ, by highlighting the province’s wealth of products and the creativity of our chefs, who will pay tribute to the producers and ingredients that make our cuisine unique. The 150 participating restaurants will each offer a three-course, $23, $33 or $43 set-price evening menu, which will feature one or several Québec ingredients.
MTLàTABLE is a tasty opportunity for all food-lovers to go on a delicious discovery of several Montréal restaurants or revisit favourites at a wallet-friendly price. Whether you’re celebrating a romantic anniversary, want to revisit your favourite brunch spot, want to book a family outing or party with a group of friends, this year’s edition of MTLàTABLE will have something to offer everyone.
Brunches are back!
Montrealers’ favourite weekend activity–brunch! – is back as an integral part of the MTLàTABLE programme for the fourth year in a row. Participating restaurants will offer a $17 brunch menu giving you the chance to ease into the weekend with tasty eggs Benedict or a stack of crispy waffles. A few restaurants that don’t normally offer weekend brunches will be exceptionally doing so for MTLàTABLE so you’ll also have the opportunity to discover some unique takes on that all favourite weekend spread.
Relais & Châteaux
MTLàTABLE celebrates the outstanding culinary achievements of restaurants Toqué! and Europea, which are the only two Montréal establishments to proudly bear the distinguished Relais & Châteaux label. The Relais & Châteaux experience features $73 set multicourse menus created exclusively for MTLàTABLE by chefs Normand Laprise and Jérôme Ferrer.
Participating MTLàTABLE restaurants were invited to create a dish using chocolate from Cacao Barry. Throughout the length of the festival, MTLàTABLE diners will be able to taste these sweet or savoury chocolate-flavoured dishes at the twenty restaurants participating in the Cacao Barry Challenge.
The list of participating restaurants will be revealed on October 3, 2018, so keep checking www.mtlatable.com to be among the first people to discover the 150 participating restaurants’ unique menus and book your tables.
MTLàTABLE thanks its different partners, including the SAQ, ESKA Natural Spring Water and SWISS, for their contribution in making this event memorable. Keep an eye out in the next few weeks for some special initiatives brought to you by our partners.
