Featured MTLàTABLE restaurants in your favorite neighbourhoods

The 2021 edition of MTLàTABLE is taking place over three time periods this summer and fall, from June 23 to August 1, from August 4 to 29 and from September 1 to October 11. Participating restaurants are offering 3-course menus highlighting Québec ingredients. Below are some of the participating restaurants in some of your favourite neighbourhoods, from the Plateau to Verdun.  

Plateau-Mont-Royal and Mile End

Restaurant La Chronique - 104 Laurier Avenue West

Kamouraska lamb, Marieville duck foie gras and Québec halibut are all on the MTLàTABLE menu of this elegant, French restaurant that’s listed as one of the best fine dining establishments in town. 

Restaurant de l’ITHQ - 3535 Saint-Denis Street

While the ITHQ trains the next generation of the tourism industry, they also have a great restaurant on site with a seasonal menu that focuses on Québec ingredients. Their MTLàTABLE menu is a 7-course feast that also comes in a vegan option. 

Ibericos Spanish Tapas Tavern - 4475 Saint-Denis Street

Spanish tapas are the specialty at Ibericos, more specifically Spanish ham, chorizo, and salchichón, which are on the menu for MTLàTABLE, along with decadent paellas for two. 

Le Virunga - 851 Rachel Street East

A mother and daughter team are at the helm of Le Virunga’s gorgeous cuisine. Expect revisited traditional recipes of sub-Saharan Africa served by a friendly team in an intimate ambiance.

Little Italy and Villeray

Santa Barbara - 6696 De Saint-Vallier Street

This vegetarian restaurant is certainly a favourite among plant eating aficionados but it is also a cherished destination for meat lovers who enjoy its great seasonal cuisine.  

La Rose des Sables - 1815 Beaubien Street East

Escape to Tunisia and the warmth of the Mediterranean while dining at this cozy Rosemont neighbourhood restaurant with a fragrant cuisine reminiscent of the Orient.

Olympic district and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve

Hoogan et Beaufort4905 Molson Street

One of Montréal’s best farm-to-table restaurants, Hoogan et Beaufort’s dishes are all cooked in their wood-burning oven. Enjoy your meal in the industrial chic dining room or on one of their two terrasses. 

Rose Ross - 3017 Masson Street

The near entirety of this lovely French bistro’s MTLàTABLE menu features local ingredients such as Nordic shrimp, tomatoes, berries and more. 

Le Rose-Marie1550 Fullum Street

Italian restaurant Le Rose-Marie serves an authentic cuisine featuring local ingredients. Their MTLàTABLE menu has homemade pasta and a luscious burrata with Québec rhubarb for diners to enjoy.

Au Petit Extra1690 Ontario Street East

A classic French cuisine with many dishes highlighting Québec products awaits diners at this Village institution that’s been a loved spot for 35 years. 

Les Quartiers du Canal

Restaurant Chez Sophie1974 Notre-Dame Street West

Chez Sophie promises a truly unique yet accessible fine dining experience by a chef who has worked in some of the best restaurants in Europe and her expert sommelier husband. 

Restaurant Le Richmond377 Richmond Street

Le Richmond specializes in authentic northern Italian cuisine with items such as mortadella with pistachio ravioli and saffron tagliatelle on their MTLàTABLE menu.

Restaurant Wellington3629 Wellington Street

Verdun’s quintessential restaurant Wellington serves an unpretentious yet always well executed bistro-style French cuisine. Their MTLàTABLE menu is a 3-course menu of classic dishes and includes some Québec berries in the dessert.  

Les Street Monkeys3625 Wellington Street

Authentic Cambodian street cuisine, as well as some dishes from Laos and Thailand, grace the menu at Les Street Monkeys in a fun and casual ambiance.
