This coming Sunday, May 9, we’re celebrating moms ! And pandemic or not, they deserve a meal fit for a queen, from breakfast right up to supper. Here are a few of our top menu picks and staycation offers for our special ladies:

Tailor-made menus from the Club Saint James

This normally ultra-exclusive club is offering two excellent Mother’s Day menus. For brunch, indulge in lovely starters like poached eggs on waffle and a basket of freshly-baked viennoiseries with homemade jam. For lunch, you’ll swoon for the spring roll with lobster, Guinea fowl supreme from Antoine’s farm and asparagus ricotta gnocchi and smoked sturgeon cream. Add to that a delicious dessert and kid’s menu and you’ve got a five-star culinary plan!

Orders must be placed by 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, at the latest. They will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Home delivery option available on Friday, May 7, with an additional charge.

Vegan eats at Le Roseline

Le Roseline spoils our darling mums with two gourmet menus, one entirely vegan. Snow crab salad, charcoal-grilled asparagus salad, vegan feta (optional), duck and fig quiche are all yours to choose from.  

Pick-up and deliveries will take place the night before or the same day; that is, Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May 9, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Delivery is offered within a 5-km radius for a $10 fee.

Support a good cause with meal boxes and flowers from Les Weekendeurs

Exclusively for Mother’s Day, Les Weekendeurs have created fresh and tasty meal kits with a vegetarian option. Make it an extra-special celebration with the very best of local pantry products. Another sweet touch? You can add a bouquet of flowers to your order.

Flowers and a 3-course menu from Maison Boulud

At the Ritz-Carlton Montréal's Maison Boulud, a colourful 3-course menu featuring local flavours is available for take-out or delivery (May 7 to 9, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.). From starters including homemade smoked salmon with horseradish cream and lime, to a hibiscus and rhubarb yogurt mousse with granola, the menu is sure to please. You can also order a vegan version of the meal if that better suits Mom. And as an added touch, Maison Boulud is offering a bouquet of flowers with each order.

La Brasserie Les Enfants Terribles is teeming with yummy treats that come in two taste bud-popping meal baskets.
