Burger lovers rejoice at Montréal’s Le Burger Week

Jason Lee

This year from September 1 to 7, Montrealers prepare their bodies for the sixth edition of one of the year’s most anticipated food festivals, Le Burger Week!

Restaurants around the city create signature burgers that reflect the cuisine and concept of the restaurant in a bid to be awarded a coveted distinction in a myriad of categories. Eaters will be asked to vote on their favourite burgers on www.leburgerweek.com, and awards will be given out for “Best Burger”, “Most Outrageous”, “Healthiest” and “Judge’s Choice”.

Debuting in 2012, Le Burger Week has grown drastically over the past five years, from 30 local (Montréal) restaurants and 20,000 participants to a festival spanning six Canadian provinces, three countries close to 400 restaurants and enticing over 150,000 burger loving eaters!
