Previously known as Francofolies, this beloved festival has been bringing amazing French music from around the world to the streets of downtown Montréal for 30 editions this year. Come celebrate their anniversary from June 8 to 17 with 50 concerts in 7 live music venues and make great discoveries aplenty – Francos is the best of French music today, distilled. TTC, with Omnikrom and Poirier

June 8 at MTELUS

After a long break this is the reunion tour of 20-year-old French DJ group TTC, which mixes electro-pop and hip-hop to great, danceable effect. Get ready for the crowd to go WILD. And as openers: Montréal’s own Omnikrom and Poirier.

June 13 at Théâtre Maisonneuve

This French singer-songwriter-actress makes sweet melodies that mix genres into a super personal mélange rife with poetry. She returns to the festival after 10 years with a brand new album, OUÏ, which is folky, poppy and fresh.

Gaël Faye

June 13 at L’Astral

The French Rwandan is a master wordsmith: In addition to making incredibly lyrical, poetic French rap, he’s also the author of the bestselling book Petit pays. Get ready for a musical adventure that will leave you somewhere between Bujumbura and Paris.

Juliette Armanet

June 14 at L’Astral

This French star lends her delicate voice to a sound that’s light, retro, nostalgic, romantic and innocent. Her latest album is a tour de force mixing disco vibes and piano pieces – no wonder she won the 2017 Félix-Leclerc prize.

Pierre Lapointe’s La science du cœur

June 15 and 16 at Théâtre Maisonneuve

This magical Québécois performer returns to the stage with a show that’s touching, raw, poetic, funny and rife with emotion. Dive into this extraordinary musical artist’s universe and experience the immersive show of a lifetime.

Polo & Pan with Le Couleur

June 16 at MTELUS

This is French electro at its utmost: dreamlike, youthful, trippy, and incredibly popular, so buy your tickets early. And don’t be late to the show: you won’t want to miss the openers, the great Montréal indie band Le Couleur.
