Feel the Vegas vibe at the Casino de Montréal
This fall, what happens at the Casino de Montréal might just happen in Vegas. Until October 13, the Casino de Montréal presents Welcome To Vegas, an experience featuring all the glitz, glamour and chic of that famous Nevada city, coupled with a dose of Montréal humour. Ready to let your hair down?
Experience the magic
Feathers, sequins and opulent headpieces: the Vegas showgirls welcome visitors the minute they enter the room, every Friday to Sunday. Keep your eyes peeled, because from the King to Céline, you’ll see the star mingling with the crowd. They’re lookalikes, of course, but the resemblance is uncanny. On Sundays, a magician performs mind-blowing tricks worthy of the great masters of illusion.
Let’s get hitched (sort of)!
What’s the quintessential Las Vegas thing to do? Get married in a tiny white chapel with tacky decorations and Elvis and Marilyn Monroe lookalikes as your witnesses. If you have a sense of humour and the idea intrigues you, then why not get married for the fun of it? At the Chapel of Love, you can exchange vows and share a totally commitment-free “I do”. Fridays and Saturdays at the Valet de carreau bar.
Shake it like a drag queen
Shante, you stay! And dance the night away! From 10:30 p.m. on, you can hit the dance floor with the best DJ drag queens. Crazy-fun evenings teeming with charisma, uniqueness, nerve and above all, sickening beats. Take a break with a Casino-only Le Cirque cocktail: coconut liqueur, fruit-infused vodka, white cranberry juice and a wisp of cotton candy. Has all that dancing worked up your appetite? Le Montréal restaurant is serving the Vegas-style Platter, a main dish of lobster mac n’ cheese, mini burgers and a Po’ boy tortilla with tempura shrimp. Truly a Vegas combination!
Casino de Montréal invites you to enjoy its fun, festive and laid-back ambiance. Check out the line-up of shows this fall at the Cabaret du Casino and Valet de carreau bar (the latter are free). It’s a great way to live the wild Las Vegas nights until the wee hours and come home to Montréal to sleep.
