Cheers to Aeroplan! Sweet MTLàTABLE perks
This article was updated on October 3, 2019.
The full meal deal of MTLàTABLE is even more satisfying with its presenting sponsor Aeroplan. In addition to advance reservations, Aeroplan members will get exclusive privileges in 40 of the 150 participating restaurants – so raise a glass to some tasty free perks!
Let’s get bubbly
Whip out that Aeroplan card or Aeroplan-affiliated financial card during MTLàTABLE for a complimentary glass of champagne at Parisian brasserie Chez Lévêque, or raise a glass of cava at IBERICOS Spanish tapas tavern. Make it sparkling cider to go with your Mediterranean flavours at Gustave – Histoire de goût, or your decadent comfort food at TABOO Cuisine Rebelle, where it’ll be Lacroix cider from Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. A glass of prosecco will go perfectly with the Cambodian street food at Restaurant Les Street Monkeys or the Italian delights at Artigiani. Raise your complimentary glass of cava brut at JackRose, or your Bujonis cava at the French bistro L’Estaminet. And at Rose Ross, a glass of sparkling wine is just the pairing for the creative Québec cuisine.
Speaking of aperitifs
An evening of next-level terroir cuisine at Accords le Bistro will start wonderfully with a complimentary Québec kir. You’ll be welcomed with a free aperitif of your choice at Chez Éric & Fils, where you can enjoy French food and live music. A special aperitif also awaits you alongside the cozy cuisine of wine bar Chez Bouffe Café Bistro, the gourmet French Homard Fou and the sunny flavours of Corsica and Nice at Plein Sud.
Cocktails and more, oh my!
Lovers of cocktails will have their taste buds wooed at La Classe, a restaurant run by students from LaSalle College’s International School of Hotel Management and Tourism, where Aeroplan members will get the terroir restaurant’s signature cocktail made with local Cirka gin, pear purée, rosemary syrup and Labrador tea. A delicious cocktail also awaits at Les Affamés, home to fresh market cuisine, and at L’Ô – Restaurant and Lounge, where the flavours are fresh and modern. Get a taste of Portugal at Aldea MTL, where your meal will be enhanced with a glass of port – and at Restaurant Solmar, where you’ll be introduced to white Cabral port specifically.
A place renowned for its entertainment factor, Bistro Le Ste-Cath will get your party started with a complimentary amuse-bouche. You’ll also get a specially crafted amuse-bouche at Albert Bistro, and at Darna bistroquet, where they’ll tempt you with a complimentary fresh cod croquette with saffron aioli. At seafood specialty restaurant Joséphine, the complimentary starter is a divine mix of eggs and urchin, while at all three participating branches of Les Enfants Terribles (Cantine, Au Sommet Place Ville Marie and Nuns' Island) you’ll get a complimentary gourmet profiterole featuring chicken liver and Brome Lake duck foie gras mousse with Labrador tea date caramel and milky mushroom powder. We’re as curious as you are! At Greek restaurant Ikanos, the chef will conceive a special starter to kick off your feast, while at Saiko Bistrot Izakaya and Sho-Dan Restaurant, expect a Japanese-themed appetizer. Gyoza, anyone?
End your feast on a sweet note with lovely finishing touches at La Prunelle, which will leave you craving more French delights with a complimentary selection of mignardises at the very end of the meal. Mignardises also await at Au Petit Extra, known for its rejigged French classics. The fine Québec flavours at Pastaga will be followed with a piece of cheese before dessert, for Aeroplan members, while at Restaurant Carte Blanche you’ll receive a citrus and raspberry Smirnoff sorbet. Drink up at Restaurant Le Speakeasy with a complimentary digestif, or at Restaurant Le Square, where the freebie is espresso or tea to close your experience. Leave on a bubbly note at Catalan eatery Ibérica, who’ll bid you “until next time” with a complimentary glass of cava at the end of the meal.
Aeroplan is the card that keeps on giving with even more tailor-made perks: at both La Société Montréal and Corneli Restaurant, free valet parking will make your meal a trouble-free excursion. At the experimental cuisine hub Chef’s Table MTL you’ll get not only an amuse-bouche, but also a trou normand (a hefty shot of Calvados served between courses)! And finally, special mention goes to Restaurant bar le Kube, in Hôtel Bonaventure, which will shower Aeroplan members in a trifecta of gifts: a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a palate cleanser between courses, and a VIP gift at the end of the meal. Cheers to MTLàTABLE made even more mouth-watering!
