- Walking tours
A 3 km (2 mile), zig zagging, guided tour of the most interesting parts of the city’s underground pedestrian network through Downtown and Old Montréal.
Participants will walk through tunnels, emerge amidst atriums, view public artworks, drop by an ice-skating rink in the middle of a food court, see the Métro (subway system), and discover how a shopping mall was constructed underneath a major church.
The tour ends with an unparalleled perspective of the city at the Observatoire Place Ville Marie, 46 floors above ground. This vantage point offers views of numerous landmarks including the St. Lawrence River, Mount Royal, Old Montréal, the Quartier des Spectacles, and the Olympic Stadium Tower. This 100% indoor walk is the perfect way to stay active on those cold Montréal winter days.
