With a collection of 188 vehicles, 50 of which are featured in its Angus Pavilion, Exporail, the Candian Railway Museum, is the largest museum of its kind in Canada.
Thanks to spectacular new lighting and the creation of an immersive space between the visitor’s reception area and the museum’s Grand Gallery, the permanent exhibition has undergone a facelift that delights diehard fans and new visitors alike.
A visit to the museum provides an opportunity to admire over 400 railway artifacts and view magnificent archival images on screens. Families can complete their visit with an outdoor ride on the museum’s miniature railroad.
