Paying tribute to Maurice "Rocket" Richard, this full-round bronze sculpture shows the hockey great in the heat of the action, wearing skates, holding his hockey stick, and donning sweater no. 9 of the Montréal Canadiens. Installed at the entrance to the Maurice-Richard Arena, the sculpture was created by Annick Bourgeau, a Montréal sculptor who has produced a number of works depicting historical figures.
