Galerie Connexe

Public art
Les Quartiers du Canal - Griffintown

Galerie Connexe is not a gallery in the traditional sense; it is an outdoor art showcase and a convivial meeting place for Montrealers and visitors to imbibe the talent of some of Montréal’s leading and emerging artists and to interact with neighbourhood gallery owners.

Galerie Connexe, presented by the SDC - Les Quartiers du Canal, is a veritable extension of neighbouring art galleries in Les Quartiers du Canal district. Featuring pieces from local artists using an array of techniques ranging from pencil to ink to acrylic, watercolour, oil, spray and photography, Galerie Connexe offers an outstanding display of public artwork in an ideal setting.

What’s more, Galerie Connexe is easy to find: perfectly situated in Parc des Meubliers across from the galleries on Notre-Dame Street West where Griffintown meets Little Burgundy.

Galerie Connexe proves once again that Les Quartiers du Canal is a lively summer cultural destination.

Until mid-July, Dali’s infamous Space Elephant is on display in this park.

Participating artists : Atalante; Chloé Sabourin; Janet Goldstein; José Carlos Valencia; Nancy; Overbury; Lacey Jane; Layla Folkmann; Paul-Emile Rioux; Richard-Max Tremblay; Roxanna Kibsey.
